Ingredients
Stir Fry
- 3/4 tablespoons neutral oil
- 1/4 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger (minced)
- 1/8 medium onion (sliced)
- 1/4 medium bell peppers (chopped into 1 1/2 inch chunks)
Black Pepper Sauce
- 1/8 cup chicken stock (or water)
- 1/4 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1/4 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cornstarch
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine all the black pepper sauce ingredients and set it aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a wok or saucepan over medium-high heat. Fry the shrimps in two batches, cooking each batch on both sides for 30 seconds. Transfer them to a plate, leaving the oil behind.
- Stir the sauce mixture and then add it to the wok. Continue to stir-fry it untill it starts bubbling.
- Return the cooked shrimps to the wok and mix everything well together for 1 minute.
