How To Cook Chinese Black Pepper Shrimps
Ingredients Stir Fry 3/4 tablespoons neutral oil 1/4 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined) 1/4 teaspoon ginger (minced) 1/8 medium onion (sliced) 1/4 medium bell peppers (chopped into 1 1/2 inch chunks) Black Pepper Sauce 1/8 cup chicken stock (or water) 1/4 tablespoon oyster sauce 1/4 tablespoon light soy sauce 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon cornstarch Instructions In a small bowl, combine all the black pepper sauce ingredients and set it aside. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a wok or saucepan over medium-high heat. Fry the shrimps in two batches, cooking each batch on both sides for 30 seconds. Transfer them to a plate, leaving the oil behind. Add the remaining 1 tablespoon oil, ginger and garlic. Stir-fry it for 10 seconds. Add onions and bell peppers. Stir-fry them for another 2 minutes.
