How To Cook Ham Fried Rice

 


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 cup diced shallots
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups diced ham
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
  • 2 large lightly beaten eggs
  • 2 cups cooked leftover rice
  • 2-3 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium- high heat
  2. Add 2 tablespoons sesame oil to the bottom.
  3. Add 1 cup diced shallots, 1 1/2 - 2 cups diced ham and 1 cup frozen peas and carrots abd fry untill tender. 

  4. Slide the ham mixture to one side of the wok and pour 2 large lightly beaten eggs onto the other side. Use a spatula to scrable the eggs. Once cooked, mix the eggs with the ham mixture.. 
  5. Add 3 cups of the leftover rice and 2 -3 tablespoons light soy sauce to the ham mixture. 

  6. Stir and fry untill heated throughand combined. Top with 2 tablespoons chopped green onions if desired and serve immediately.
