Ingredients
- 0.25 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon vegetable oil (to be divided)
- 0.63 cups snow peas (trim the ends)
- 0.25 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 0.5 teaspoon minced garlic
- 0.06 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 0.06 cup soy sauce
- 0.75 tablespoon honey
- 0.5 teaspoon corn starch
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the snow peas and cook it for approximately 3-4 minutes untill it becomes tender.
- Wipe the pan clean with a paper towel and turn the heat to high heat.
- Add the remaining tablespoon of oil.
- Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add them to the pan in a single layer. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side untill golden brown and cooked through.
- Whisk in the cornstarch and bring it to a boil.; cook for 1 minute or untill the sauce has just started to thicken; stirring it constantly.
