How to Cook Drunken Chicken


Ingredients

  • 2 whole chicken legs
  • 1/2 cup Huadiao wine
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
  1. Bring a pot of water to boil, add some oil and salt. Cook whole chicken legs for 20 to 25 minutes or untill fully cooked. 



  2. Remove whole chicken legs from pot and set aside.
  3. Reserve 2 cups of chicken stock, add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. 



  4. Place the chicken stock with whole chicken legs into an airtight container. Make sure the chicken stock covers whole chicken legs. 

  5. Chill in fridge overnight to marinate. 

  6. Steam it over medium-high heat before serving.
