How To Make Egg Toast Bread




Ingredients


To a mixing bowl, 
  • 3 tablespoons chopped onions (or 2 to 3 shallots or green onions) 

  • 1 to 2 chopped green chillies, red chilli powder or 1/4 teaspoon black pepper crushed) 
     
  • 1 spig coriander leaves, rosemary leaves or fine parsley chopped 
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons deseeded & chopped red bell peppers 

  • 1/4 to 3 teaspoon salt 

  • 1 pinch of tumeric powder 

  • 1 egg
Instructions
  1. Break one egg to the mixing bowl. 

  2. Beat it well with a fork or egg beater. 

  3. Heat a pan with 1 tablespoon oil or butter and spread it well. 
  4. When the pan is just hot enough, dip the entire bread at one time will leave the egg undercooked inside the bread. So just do one side first. 

  5. Place it on the pan. You can fry 2 to 3 slices at one time. 2 slices for a medium egg and 3 slices for a large egg. Make sure the flame is adjusted to medium. 



  6. When the egg is cooked, set them aside and pour the egg mixture to the pan. Allow it to  cook a bit and cut in the centre with the wooden spoon.
  7. When it is almost cooked but still moist, place cheese (optional) & bread slices over it. Press with the wooden spatula. 

  8. Flip it to the other side and make sure the egg is fully cooked on both sides. If you like extra spice, you can sprinkle some red chilli powder.
