How To Cook Broccoli & Mushroom Stir-Fry

 


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grapeseed, canola or sunflower oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper / chilli flakes
  • 1 lb. broccoli florets
  • 10 oz.sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (to garnish)
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl mix together the soy sauce, vinegar and sugar till the sugar dissolves completely. 

  2. In a large non-stick skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Then add the garlic, ginger and chilli flakes. Cook it for 30 seconds. 

  3. Add the broccoli, mushrooms and water. Stir-fry it for about 5-7 minutes or untill the veggies start to brown and reach the desired doneness. 

  4. At this point, add the soy sauce mixture and cook it for another minute. 

  5. Sprinkle the broccoli and mushroom stir-fry with toasted sesame seeds. Serve it immediately.
