How To Cook Easy Garlic Cabbage & Broccoli



Ingredients
  • 1/2 head broccoli, cut into small florets 
  • 1/2 cabbage
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 tablespoons boiling hot water
Instructions
  1. Shred the cabbage into thin strips. Cut the broccoli into small florets so that it will cook faster this way. 

  2. In a saucepan of boiling water, blanch the florets and cabbage for about 5 minutes and then strain it under cold running water. 


  3. Meanwhile, add the olive oil to a pan with the crushed garlic, cabbage and broccoli. Stir the ingredients in the pan so that everything is coated with the garlic. 

  4. Season it with salt and pepper. 

  5. Add 2 tablespoons of boiling water. 

  6. Reduce heat to low. Cover it with the pan lid and allow it to cook through untill tender, approximately 5 minutes. 

  7. Serve it immediately.
