How To Cook Honey Garlic Butter Salmon


Ingredients 

  • 1 fillet salmon 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, fine chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Sauce


  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Garnish


  • Toasted sesame seeds
  • Chives / spring onion chopped
Instructions
  1. First, season the salmon with salt and black pepper on both sides. 

  2. In a small bowl, mix the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice and set it aside. 

  3. Heat the pan to medium-high heat, drizzle a tablespoon of oil, then place the salmon fillet and fry it for 2-3 minutes. 

  4. Gently flip and fry the other side for 1 minute. 

  5. Add the butter and chopped garlic on one side of the pan. Saute it for another 1 minute. 


  6. Next pour the sauce in, baste it over the salmon occasionally. Let the sauce reduce and start to thick. 

  7. Sprinkle the lemon zest. toasted sesame seeds and chopped chives. 

  8. Turn off the heat and transfer it to a serving plate. Add extra chopped chives and sesame seeds.
