How to Cook Drunken Chicken

 


Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken leg
  • 1/4 Hua Diao wine
  • 1/2 tablespoon light soya sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
  1. Bring a pot of water to boil. Add some oil and salt. 

  2. Cook the whole leg for 20 to 25 minutes or untill it is fully cooked. 


  3. Remove the whole leg from pot and set it aside. 

  4. Place 1 cup of chicken stock, add the rest of the ingredients and mix it well. 

  5. Place the chicken stock with the whole chicken leg into an airtight container. Make sure the chicken stock covers the whole chicken leg. 

  6. Chill it in the fridge overnight to marinate. 

  7. Steam it over medium-high heat before serving it.
