How To Cook Snow Peas with Bacon


Ingredients

  • 1 lb snow peas
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 4 slices bacon, sliced thin
  • 4 shallots, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Wash snow peas and remove the stems.
  2. Fill a saucepan halfway with water. Add salt and bring it to a boil. Cook snow peas in water for 2 to 3 minutes. 

  3. Transfer the snow peas to a colander and let it drain for 1 minute. 

  4. Add bacon and shallots. Cook it for 1 minute. 

  5. Add the well-drained snow peas and the remaining ingredients. 

  6. Stir well and cook it for 30 seconds more. 

  7. Serve the dish.
