How to Pan Fry Tofu in Garlic Soy Sesame Sauce


Ingredients

  • 80 grams firm tofu
  • 4 grams chopped spring onions
  • Some cooking oil
Seasoning Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon raw sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
Instructions

  1. Take out the tofu from the packaging and drain off the water. Gently pat dry the outer layer of tofu with some kitchen towels. 
  2. Cut the tofu into small cubes or medium-sized rectangles. 

  3. Pre-heat a non-stick frying pan on high heat. Add some cooking oil and spread it across the pan. 
  4. Add the tofu and pan fry both sides untill they turn golden brown (about 2 minutes each side on high heat. 

  5. Turn off the heat. 
  6. Stack the tofu in a shallow dish. Add the spring onion. 
  7. Pour the sauce around the tofu and spring onion. 
  8. Serve it immediately.
