Ingredients
- 1 pound of trimmed green beans, washed, drained and halved
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 to 12 garlic cloves, sliced thinly
- 1 small onion (1/2 cup), sliced or chopped
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
- Bring 3 cups of water in a large wok or pot to boil over medium-high heat. Stir in the salt.
- Add the beans and cook it for 7 minutes. Stir it around with a wooden spatula to cook evenly.
- Put the same pot / wok back on the stove. Turn the heat to medium-high.
- Transfer it to a serving plate with a bowl of rice. You can refrigerate the leftovers up to 1 week.
