How To Cook Easy Chinese Cabbage Soup

 


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 slices fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon dried shrimps (washed and soaked for 30 minutes)
  • 1-2 cups washed and chopped cabbage
  • 1 litre of cube chicken stock dissolved in water
  • 1 carrot cut into rounds
  • 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
Instruction
  1. Heat oil till over high heat. Stir fry ginger and dried shrimps till fragrant
  2. Add the sliced cabbage to the pot. Do not stir it for 1 minute. Allow the leaves and ginger to char a bit for a more flavourful taste.

  3. Pour in the stock slowly and bring it to a boil on medium-high heat. Add in the sliced carrots.

  4. Once the soup boils, lower the heat to medium and allow it to simmer for 15 minutes. 

  5. Just 5 minutes before turning off the fire. Season it with white pepper.
  6. Serve and Enjoy.
