Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 slices fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon dried shrimps (washed and soaked for 30 minutes)
- 1-2 cups washed and chopped cabbage
- 1 litre of cube chicken stock dissolved in water
- 1 carrot cut into rounds
- 1 teaspoon ground white pepper
Instruction
- Heat oil till over high heat. Stir fry ginger and dried shrimps till fragrant
- Add the sliced cabbage to the pot. Do not stir it for 1 minute. Allow the leaves and ginger to char a bit for a more flavourful taste.
- Once the soup boils, lower the heat to medium and allow it to simmer for 15 minutes.
- Just 5 minutes before turning off the fire. Season it with white pepper.
