How To Cook Sauteed Cabbage and Carrots

 


Ingredients

  • 3/8 head cabbage. finely shredded
  • 3/4 carrot, shredded
  • 1 1/2 garlic cloves, crushed or minced
  • 3/8 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3/8 teaspoon fresh ginger. crushed or minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3/8 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 3/4 tablespoon canola oil
Instructions
  1. Heat canola or vegetable oil in a saucepan or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and cook it untill soft. 

  3. Add ginger and garlic. Cook it for 1 minute, stirring it frequently. 

  4. Add carrots, cabbage, salt and pepper. Cook it for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 

  5. Next, add the vinegar and stir it to combine.
  6. Remove it from heat. 

  7. Serve it warm.
