How To Cook Apple Pork Ribs Soup

 


Ingredients

  • 300-500 grams pork ribs
  • 1 medium carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 large apple, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 cups of water
  • 2 slices ginger
  • chopped scallions for garnish
Instructions
  1. Wash the pork ribs. Blanch them in boiling water for a few minutes to remove impurities. Rinse the ribs under cold running water and drain. 

  2. Combine the pork ribs, carrots, apples, salt, ginger slices and water. Bring the mixture to a boil.

  3. Reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hour or untill the pork ribs are tender.
  4. Skim off any fat from the surface of the soup. 

  5. Garnish the soup dish with chopped scallions and serve it hot.
