Ingredients
- 300-500 grams pork ribs
- 1 medium carrot, peeled and chopped
- 1 large apple, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 cups of water
- 2 slices ginger
- chopped scallions for garnish
Instructions
- Wash the pork ribs. Blanch them in boiling water for a few minutes to remove impurities. Rinse the ribs under cold running water and drain.
- Reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hour or untill the pork ribs are tender.
- Skim off any fat from the surface of the soup.
