Ingredients
- 500 grams prawns, cleaned and remove the shrimp thread
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 3 slices ginger
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- sliced scallions for garnish
- 3 gloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cooking wine
- 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
Instructions
- Heat oil a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the prawns and stir-fry them untill they turn pink.
- Add ginger, garlic and scallions. Stir-fry it untill fragrant.
- Mix white pepper, sugar, light soy sauce and cooking wine in a small bowl, Pour the sauce mixture over the prawns and stir-fry them.
- Cover the skillet and reduce the heat to low. Simmer it for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the prawns to a serving plate and garnish it with scallions. Serve it with steamed rice or noodles.
