How To Cook Scrambled Egg with Mushrooms

 


Ingredients


  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup sliced shiitake mushroom
  • 2 gloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh Parsley for garnish
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and saute for 4-5 minutes. Stir it occasionally untill golden and tender. 

  3. Add garlic and cook it for another 1 minute. 

  4. Season it with salt and pepper. Remove the mushrooms from the skillet and set aside. 

  5. Whisk the eggs, milk, salt and pepper untill it is well-combined. 
  6. Reduce the heat to low and add the remaining 1 tablespoon butter to the skillet.
  7. Pour in the egg mixture and let it cook undisturbed for 30 seconds. 

  8. Using a spatula, gently stir it and fold the egg as it cooks to ensure a soft and creamy texture. 

  9. When the egg is nearly set but still slightly runny, fold in the sauteed mushrooms and mix gently. 

  10. Add in the shredded cheese and let it melt into the egg. 
  11. Remove it from heat and transfer it to a serving plate. Garnish it with fresh parsley.
