Ingredients
For the Filling
- 1/2 lb medium shrimps (peeled. deveined and finely chopped)
- 1 cup shredded green cabbage
- 1 medium carrot (julienned)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- salt and pepper
For Wrapping and Frying
- 10-12 egg roll wrappers
- 1 egg, beaten
- vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for 1 minute untill fragrant.
- Heat about 1-2 inches of vegetable oil in a large skillet.
- Serve the egg rolls hot with your choice of dripping sauce.
