How To Cook Spinach and Tofu Stir Fry

 


Ingredients

  • 200 grams firm tofu, drained and cubed
  • 4 cups fresh spinach, washed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into square or rectangular cubes. 
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cut tofu cubes and saute untill golden and slightly crispy about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside. 


  3. In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Saute the minced garlic over medium heat for 1 minute untill fragrant. 

  4. Toss in the spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring it occasionally untill wilted. 

  5. Return the cooked tofu to the skillet with the spinach. Drizzle it with light soy sauce, sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds. 

  6. Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper. Serve it hot and enjoy!
