Ingredients
- 3 small bittergourds
- 3 cups vegetable broth
- 1 medium onion
- 1 small tomato, diced
- 1 carrot
- 1/4 cup sweet corn
- 2-3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- salt as needed
Instructions
- Clean the vegetables well. Peel the skin of the carrot and cut it into small squares / rectangular shapes. Dice the onion and tomato. Cut the bittergourd into squares.
- Remove the inner seeds from the bittergourds. Add excess salt and rub it well with it. Leave it for 30 minutes. Clean it well with many times as possible to remove the salt.
- Place the bittergourd. onion, tomato, carrot, sweet corn and garlic cloves in a saucepan or pot.
- Once it boils, keep the flame low. Cover it with a lid and cook for 30 minutes till it is cooked completely.
