How To Cook Honey, Garlic, Shrimp, Sausage & Broccoli

 


Ingredients

  • 300 grams shrimps. peeled and deveined
  • 200 grams chinese oriental sausage, sliced diagonally
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame sedds (for garnish)
  • Fresh green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced sausage and cook it for 3--4 minutes untill browned. Remove from the heat and set it aside. 

  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  4. Add the shrimps and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side untill they turn pink and opaque. Remove them from the skillet and set aside with the cooked sausages. 

  5. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes untill they are bright green and tender-crisp. 

  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, light soy sauce, rice vinegar and minced garlic. 

  7. Pour the sauce into the wok with the broccoli and bring it to a simmer. 

  8. Return the cooked sausage and shrimps to the wok, tossing everything together to coat with the honey garlic sauce. 

  9. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes untill everything is heated through and well-combined.
  10. Garnish it with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
