How to cook Holland Beans with Preserved Radish

 


Ingredients


  • 250 grams Holland beans
  • 100 grams minced meat
  • 2 tablespoons preserved radish (Can be sweet / salted) Soak and chop it.
  • 2 tablespoons dried prawns (soaked & chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fermented bean paste (chopped)
  • 1 red chilli, diced (optional)


For seasoning:
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1/3 cup water
For Marinade:


  • 1 teaspoon light soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornflour
Instructions
  1. First, marinade minced meat with light soy sauce and cornflour. 


  2. Rinse and soak dried prawns and preserved radish for about 10 to 15 minutes. 

  3. Wash and drain the holland beans and set aside. 

  4. Prepare the seasonings for the dish. 

  5. Heat up the cooking oil. Saute chopped garlic, chopped preserved radish & dried prawns till fragrant. 

  6. Add in the fermented bean paste and stir fry to mix well. 


  7. Add in minced meat and continue to stir fry till it is cooked and is separated into meat piece. 



  8. Add in holland beans and stir fry till they are cooked through. 

  9. Then add diced chillies (if you are using) and pour in the seasoning mixture. 

  10. Stir fry it on high heat till cooked and well mixed together.
