How to Cook Easy Chicken and Cabbage Stir Fry (Version 1)


Ingredients

  • 2-3 large chicken breasts / leg meat (cut into bit-size pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 1 medium cabbage (cored & chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Add the olive oil and chicken in a skillet. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. 

  2. Turn the burner to medium-high heat and saute it for about 7 minutes or untill the chicken is just cooked through. 

  3. Take the chicken out of the pan and set it aside. 

  4. Add the butter and onion to the pan and saute it for 3 minutes. 

  5. Add the cabbage to the pan and saute it for 10 to 15 minutes uncovered, stirring it fairly often untill it is nice and soft. The cabbage will start to wilt after a few minutes so it will become easier to stir it. The onion will also start to lightly brown and become more flavorful.

  6. Stir in the garlic and sweet paprika powder. 


  7. Add the chicken back in and cook untill it is heated through, stirring it fairly often which will take only a few minutes. 

  8. Taste and season it with salt and pepper as needed. Serve immediately.
