How to Cook Stir-Fried Napa Cabbage with Shiitake Mushrooms


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup Shaoxing wine or water
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 medium head Napa cabbage, tear them into lumps
  • 1/2 pound of stemmed and sliced shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
  1. Heat the oil in a large wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic and mushrooms. Stir fry them for about 4 to 5 minutes. 

  3. Add the cooking wine and cabbage. 

  4. Stir-fry them over medium-high heat untill the cabbage is tender-crisp and the mushrooms tender for about 6 to 8 minutes. 

  5. Add the soy sauce and pepper. 

  6. Serve the dish immediately. 


How To Cook Stir-Fry Cabbage with Fish Balls

 


Ingredients

  • Fishballs
  • Cabbage, tear them into lumps
  • Carrots, slice it into matchstick form
  • 1/4 water
  • 1 teaspoon light soy sauce  
Instructions
  1. Heat oil, add in minced garlic to stir fry. 

  2. Add in cabbage, followed by sliced carrots and stir it together. 

  3. Add in water. Allow the cabbage and carrot to simmer. 

  4. Add in 1 teaspoon of light soya sauce. 

  5. Add in fish balls to cook and stir fry all the veggies together, 

  6. Serve immediately.

How to Cook Pineapple Fried Rice


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red, 1/2 yellow & 1/2 green bell peppers, diced 
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed peas
  • 1 1/2 cup old jasmine rice, preferably leftover rice
  • 1/2 cup pineapple pieces
  • 1/4 cup spring onion. finely chopped
  • 250 grams chicken meat, chopped
Sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a wok or large non-stick skillet over high heat.
  2. Add garlic and onion. Cook for 1 minute. 
  3. Add in the chicken pieces, mid onion cook. 
  4. Add red, green & yellow bell peppers and cook it for 1 minute. 

  5. Add the frozen mixed peas. Stir it for 30 seconds. 

  6. Add rice and the sauce ingredients. 

  7. Cook and stirring it constantly for 2 minutes, or untill the rice grains go from being wet with sauce to sort of caramelized. 

  8. Add the pineapple pieces. Stir it for 30 seconds to warm through. 

  9. Stir through the chopped spring onion.
  10. Serve it immediately.
