How To Cook Pan-Fried Soy Ginger Batang Steak

 


Ingredients

  • 2-3 Batang steaks
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Sauce mixture of:
    - 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
    - 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
    - 1/2 teaspoon sugar
    - sliced ginger
    - 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 100 ml water
Instructions
  1. Pat dry, season 2-3 Batang steaks with salt & pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry it for 1-2 minutes on each side untill brown and crispy. 

  3. Add 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon light soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, sliced ginger and garlic. 
  4. Pour in 100 ml water. 

  5. Cover and simmer it for 1-2 minutes untill cooked through. 

  6.  Garnish the dish with sliced spring onion on top of the Batang steaks.
